Introduction
This guide shows you how to integrate Codility with ModernLoop. Codility integrates with ModernLoop to create Codility interview sessions for candidates Your organization needs to add the Codility API key to ModernLoop to generate Codility links.

Prerequisites
- The Codility user setting up the integration must have admin access to Codility.
- The Codility user setting up the integration must have admin access to ModernLoop.
- Note: if the Codility account that generates the API key is deprecated, the integration will stop working. Best practice is to use an account that will never be deprecated (ex. using a admin system user account or by setting up a new Coldility admin account specifically for this task).
Instructions
To connect Codility to ModernLoop, follow the instructions below:

Log in to codility.com

Navigate to My Account> Settings

Click Integrations from the top menu

In the Custom integrations Application name field, type ModernLoop and then click Create

Copy the generated API key

Navigate to ModernLoop at app.modernloop.io

Click on Organization Settings from the left navigation

In the Integrations tab, scroll to "Codility" in the Coding Tools section and click Connect to the right

Paste in the API Key from Codility and click Save

The Codility integration is now ready to use!
Using Your Codility Integration
- When scheduling an interview, Codility links can be generated on the Communications tab.
- Selecting the Codility button will open a modal where you can select +Add Codility link to auto-generate a link for the interview.
- Coding links can be added to interview plans through the Jobs tab. This allows you to generate a link by default without having to create one each time a schedule with a coding assessment is generated. To add a coding link to an interview plan, navigate to Jobs, select the job, and then choose the job stage. Locate the interview within the interview plan for which you want to generate a coding assessment link by default, and select the "</>" icon.
